Pleasant staff that genuinely seemed to be happy to see the customer. Room was serviced and fine but the room could be spruced up a little. I only had breakfast at the hotel and it was fine and service was as quick as it could be with the staff cooking a breakfast to order.
The bathroom and ceiling in my room needed a "refresh" along with a grubby and stained carpet. I really didn't like to think about the carpet and what was living in it.The sheets were clean and the room had otherwise been made up well. If the carpet was clean I would recommend the hotel to a friend.
good locatio for work
shower curtain was a nuisance and outside light not working which made it difficult to insert key and get into room initially
A very warm welcome from the staff and nothing was too much to ask. Lovely breakfast and plently of choise. Would use this again as its a good location
I think it time for some renovation, especially the bathroom. But ut was clean.
At first it seems like very loud place, but surprisingly it is not. Liked location and not pushy staff.
I did not like stained bedding, out of date overall design and leaking hydraulics
Staff attitude and willingness to converse and assist. Immediate acknowledgement of ones presence at the reception desk
The room was clean and had everything we needed. The shower was good and breakfast the next morning was quite nice. I would recommend the Campanile to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive stopover.
The room is clean, beddings nice and soft, the coffee and tea good compliment. It is perfect for what we needed. The bus from Liverpool airport (82A) about 40 minutes drive was perfect to get to the hotel. The metro to the city is also very close.
Reasonable facilities, decor is a bit tired but good value for money. Wasn't awake for the breakfast so can't comment on the food.
The hotel breakfast was excellent one of the best I have had in a hotel.
The hotel room and bathroom needed some upgrading.
Good sized room with simple but good facilities.
The bed was on the soft side, and I had to keep the bathroom door shut because of plumbing noise.
We liked the room and the quietness
The hotel is conveniently located near the railway station, saving on taxi fare.
The room we stayed in need to be redecorated.
Price and locality to airport.
The Stairs up to the rooms, and the rooms need a bit of a revamp due to mould in the bathrooms. We did have two rooms on different occasions and both were very similar.
We enjoyed the comfort of the room, the location of the hotel as it was very close to train station and within good driving distance of Liverpool and Manchester. The meals in the hotel were good and breakfast was delicious.
Our only fault was the constant pouring of water from the drain part of the bath. It appeared that water was dripping into the bath but from where we were unsure.
The warm greeting, welcome conversation from the receptionist (male) when we arrived, and also the room was warm and clean and no fuss, bed was comfortable, bathroom newly equipped with shower head and taps. This hotel perfectly suited our overnight stay to enable us to visit relatives in Liverpool, and then on Sunday, the gateway to explore the surrounding area, and travel to the Wirral. A perfectly priced no hassle stop over. Thank you
